the branch of Astronist theology dealing with the notion that the exploration, observation and other interaction with the astronomical world possess the powers of salvation.

The notion of The Cosmos possessing redemptive powers is predicated upon the concept of transcension which is interpreted by Astronists to resemble the salvation of humanity through humanity’s evolutionary progression as a result of approximating to a spacefaring society. As such, both the physical and intellectual exploration of the astronomical world are considered the ultimate redemption for humanity from its current confined, unfulfilled and unrealised on The Earth.
