ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix astro-, denoting the Astronic tradition, attached to the combining form -sphere denoting a structure or activity characteristic of a group; meaning ‘the sphere of influence of the Astronic tradition.’ This phrase is therefore distinct from that of the Astrosa as it encompasses a broader range of people than simply just the Astronist community.
