the social science dealing with space exploration and human civilisation in space, especially concurrent to the analysis of the Astronic tradition and its culture.

ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix astron-, denoting the astronomical world or the Astronic tradition, combined with the suffix -istry denoting a practice or science; meaning ‘the science of space exploration and human civility in space.’ Cometan is known to have first coined this term sometime during the first half of The Year of Completion.
